Loan Process

Our loan process is approximately 15 business days. The overall length of time is dependant on how quickly the applicant turns in complete requested information. Applications received with no activity for over 30 days will be canceled from the process.

Please read over the steps in the loan process before applying online.

Step 1:

• Application.
• Application submitted for review. (Prior to closing we will need a copy of a valid ID.)
• Average time to complete up to 2 Business Days.

Step 2:

• Waiting on Documents.
• Supporting documents requested by our underwriting department. Could include: Tax Returns, Bank Statements, Paycheck stubs, References, Utility Bill. An ACCION representative will conduct a collateral inspection.
• Average time to complete dependant upon the applicant.

Step 3:

• Final Decision.
• Loan is approved or denied.
• Average time to complete - 2 Business days (Assumes all requested documents are provided and no additional information is needed.)

Step 4:

• Loan Closing.
• Closing documents signed by all parties, check given to client. ACCION Texas provides automatic bank account payments. You will need a voided check to set that up.
• Average time to complete in San Antonio: 24 hours
• Average time to complete - all other cities: 48 hours
