Goals & Objectives:

Since Its Inception In 1994 It Has Grown To Be Regarded As The Largest And Best Performing Microfinance Institution In The United States. We Are Dedicated To Increasing Incomes And Creating Jobs In Low-income Communities By Providing Micro-entrepreneurs With Access To Credit And Business Support Services Not Available From The Commercial Banking Sector. Through Our Loans And Services, We Help Micro-entrepreneurs Strengthen Their Businesses, Stabilize Their Incomes, Create Additional Employment And Contribute To The Economic Revitalization Of Their Communities. Tasks:
- Prepare Financial Models And Analyze Financial Statements
- Benchmark Analysis
- Credit Risk Analysis
- Statistical Analysis
- Identify, Measure And Analyze Financial Nformation Concerning The Organization’s Resources
- Analyze Loan Application Process
- Assist CFO In Other Projects As Requested
- 1-2 Weeks Of Field Work As Management Consultant To One Or More Clients
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong Analytical Skills
- MBA Candidate - Required
- Experience In Organizational Finance, Investment Projects And/or Accounting Preferred
- Solid Background In Credit Risk And Loan Portfolio Dynamics A Big Plus
- Effective Written And Oral Communication Skills
- Experience In Small Business Finance Preferred But Nor Required
Salary:
- This Is A Full Time, 10 Week, Paid Internship.
