Kudos to Shirley Brooks-Regional Director Houston

Ms. Brooks was thanked by the African Business Council of Texas for all her work in helping entrepreneurs, read below:

"Dear Shirley:

The Houston African Business Council (HABE) 2010 is over, and we are proud to say it was a huge success. A good share of the credit for its success goes to the quality of the workshop presentations. We believe that your contribution as a presenter, and the information you shared with our vendors and attendees will help empower them to develop and grow their businesses, moving them to the next level.

As you know funding is a major hurdle that small businesses have to overcome.

The information that you presented about different ways to increase their creditworthiness beyond just the credit score, was of particular interest to some of the attendees. There were many positive comments about the quality of your presentations, in fact several people have indicated their desire to schedule a meeting with you, and I have assured them that you are always very willing to help whenever you can.

African Business Council (ABC) of Texas looks forward to working closely with all our participant as they follow up on the information you presented.

Again, thank you for giving your valuable time and contributing to the success of this year’s HABE."
